This impregnated carbon cartridge is constructed with an outer layer of polyolefin and synthetic fibers which removes solid particles and protects the inner carbon powder layer from premature clogging. The sulphur-free carbon that provides increased carbon treatment capacity. Available with core cover, which again filters the solution and assure no carbon bleed-off.

Outer wound materials, with high-grade powder activated carbon, impregnated in cellulose paper. Outer wound materials include: spun polypropylene, fibrillated polypropylene and bleached cotton.

This outer wound carbon cartridge features layers of paper impregnated w/ activated powdered carbon. The outer winding acts as a pre-filter, the carbon impregnated paper removes the organic contaminants as well as undesirable tastes, odours, sediments and discolouration. Finally, a polishing 5 micron inner winding removes any remaining impurities.
